LaDawn Cantu, Nurse Practitioner

LaDawn Cantu has been a practicing Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in Rockwall since 1998.

Before receiving her training and certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1998. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1988.

LaDawn enjoyed working as a Labor & Delivery nurse for 8 years additionally, she gained invaluable experience as an Emergency Room nurse at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Her experiences as a Registered nurse prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner gave her a solid knowledge base and deep appreciation for women’s health. She considers it an honor to provide care for women throughout the unique phases of their lives.

LaDawn is happily married and has two adult children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and playing piano. You can often see her at Rockwall Community Playhouse managing behind the scenes.
